I fall in love with Agata Ruiz de la Prada bags in June. I bought a beautiful bag in Novo mesto, when we went to the festival Rock Otočec.

It's so nice, that I'm afraid to use it and damage it. Also it was quite expensive.

In August, my good friend from Madrid was visiting, and we also talked about that Spanish designer. So she surprised me and for New Year I got this wallet, which I love. Thanks again Tina (I do your photos soon, I promise :) ).

Traditional basket making art class

In October my vegetarian and I started to visit traditional basket art class in the homeland of that kind of baskets - Ribnica. The art class still takes place in Ribnica handicraft centre.
We started with making the parts for the baskets. Handles, sticks and these long thin tapes made from hazel tree called "vitra". This is the most difficult part of basket making. The supllies for the different shapes of baskets. This two baskets are a result of three months, 2 hours a week work.
This week we started with different kind of basket making - from willow tree, which is faster and easier. More about that in next few months.

On Friday, I will participate on a fairin Ribnica. It will be my first fair with Coprnije and I can't wait. I just hope that the weather will be OK. These week I'm totally busy, because I still have to make some more lavander bags, some bracelets, some more hats.... and also my business cards and all the other stuff.

This autumn is totally crazy. A lot is going on with Coprnije (check the right side of the blog - thanks to Julie), not to mention the reconstruction of the house. A great concert. I wasn't sure to go or not, because the tickets weren't so cheap, but we did go. It was the best energy ever. And Cvetličarna looks great after renovation. And a the sound is much more better than before.

I forget to mention, that the trumpet player in the bend looks like Barney from HIMYM,
and that we saw a man in the Cvetličarna, who looked like Jack from Will & Grace. :)

Sorry that I was silent for so long. I wasn't on vacation (they are coming next week), but I just had a lot of work at the house, at work and also with craft stuff. I also did some "field work" in my garden.
This are two new crochet rings with some beads. I really like to crochet with wire. So you'll see plenty of that.
I also started making new hats for next autumn/winter collection. But I won't show them yet. They are waiting for fotoshooting.

Rock Otočec '11

I thought i won't go in that festival again. But it turned out, that my friend had to free VIP tickets so we went. Just for one night because we have a lot of work on the house. We found a very big and nice shop in Novo mesto. so it turned out, that I really need a new bag. But the concert was great. Jinx rocks. :) Zmelkoow totally disapointed me. We slept in the car and next morning decided to go to the pool at Dolenjske toplice. We finished the weekend with a picnic with our new (New Year's gift) chairs, which my father made for us.
They are great.

Festival Lent

This is a very bad photo of the stage. I didn't have time to make photos, because of the music. After few years of just thinking of going, this year we finally did it. The reason was Asian Dub Foundation concert.
And it was great. Best thing in this summer. And a lot of people, and nice city, nice coffee. We will go next year. :)

a few days ago a was checking my collection of earings. i pretty much don't wear any of them. it's time to make some new one. so i made this first one for myself. very simple but nice, with swarovski pearls. And because they looked nice I made two more.

Pred nekaj časa sem pregledovala mojo zbirko uhanov. Počasi sem se že vseh naveličala in jih ne nosim več. Čas je, da naredim kakšne nove. Tako sem naredila tele na prvi fotki zame. In ker so zgledali kul, še dva para. So taki enostavni, s Swarovski perlami.

Karstological school

Every year in june there is one week for karstological school. Because I don't work in that kind of job that they will send me there for whole week i just take a day or two to go to some special excursions. This year we went to Križna cave and Bloke plateau and to Dolenjska karst region.

Vsako leto je junija v Postojni krasoslovna šola. Ker ne delam v takem poklicu, da bi tam preživela en teden službeno, si vsako leto vzamem dan ali dva dopusta in grem na kakšne zanimive ekskurzije. Letos smo šli v Križno jamo in na Bloke, ter en cel dan na dolenjski kras.

I decided, that i need completly new set of bracelets, earings and necklaces. Because i stopped wearing my old ones. i started doing some bracelets but i did what you see in the picture. But this aren't my colors. so more luck next time for me. I'll figure it out.

Prišla sem do ugotovitve, da moram zamenjati moje obstoječe uhane, verižice in zapestnice, ker mi stare niso več všeč. Začela sem z zapestnicami, kot vidite na fotki. Vendar ni v mojih barvah. Tako da očitno bo naslednjič bolje. Kakšna ideja več. :)

Dve vrtnici iz velike grede. Trenutno je v njej samo nekaj krompirja in rože, da plevel nima prostora. Naslednje leto bova obnovila ograjo, preuredila poti in uredila vse ostalo.

My little garden

As a side project with renovating an old house i started to work on a little garden. I forgot to take before picture, but now picture looks like that. I finally get rid of all the weeds (i hope it won't come back).
I have some lavanda (I adore it), basil, mint and corn. I'm waiting for some salad, onions and radishes to grow. David fixed the bench and I put some sand on the path so now it's not muddy anymore. But a lot of work is still waiting to be done, first is cutting the grass all around.

Stranski projekt obnove hiške je tudi okolica in vrt. Pozabila sem slikati stanje pred, tako da vidite samo stanje potem. Končno sem se znebila vsega plevela in upam da ne pride več nazaj. Posajenih imam nekaj grmičkov sivke (ki jo obožujem), baziliko, meliso, meto, koruzo... Čakam še solato, čebulo in redkvice, da zrastejo. David mi je popravil klop, jaz pa sem na potko navozila pesek, da ne bo več blata. In presadila gozdne jagode. Majhen delček vrta je urejen, vendar naju čakata še cel vrt (potrebno je pokositi travo) in večja greda.

Big thanks goes to Evasardina and this blog to give me this tutorial. I love it. It's a lot of work, because instead of glueing I sew all the petals but the brooch looks amazing.

Velika zahvala za tole broško gre Evisardini in njenemu blogu, da sem jo videla pri njej. Mene je čisto prepričala. Sicer je potrebno kar nekaj časa in potrpljenja za izdelavo, še posebej, ker sem vsak listek posebej prišila namesto prilepila (filc namreč kar popije lepilo) ampak broška zgleda fenomenalno.

Almost three years ago, i was talking to a friend to make her a ringsling. Now her doughter is big enough to walk so she doesn't need it anymore. But my friend is pregnant again so I finnaly manage to make her a ringsling. This is first one, to see how it goes, but she'll get a different one. For a boy. :)

Pred skoraj tremi leti sem se s prijateljico pogovarjala o tem, da ji naredim ringsling. Zdaj njena hčerka že veselo hodi naokrog in ga več ne potrebuje. Ker pa je prijateljica ponovno noseča, mi je tokrat uspelo. Tale na fotografiji je prvi, vendar ona dobi drugega, v bolj fantovskih barvah. Ampak ta bo kakšen teden (ali pa mogoče tudi manj) še skrivnost.

First, i should apologise, because I was absent for such a long time. After a giveaway it was too much other things to do. Some pluming work on the house, this week the electricity man comes, job, some reading of articles about frost hollows for faculty and also quite some craft work. Not to mentione I got new mobile phone to play with.
But let's get down to buisness. Here are two new socks for mobile phones.

First is an order from friend, the second one is mine, for my new phone, until the plastic covers come.

Najprej je primerno opravičilo, za mojo dolgo odsotnost. Po giveawayu je bilo toliko drugih reči. Na hiški je narejena vodovodna napeljava, ta teden pride še električar, pa služba, branje člankov o mraziščih za fakulteto in tudi nekaj kreativnosti. Pa še nov telefon sem dobila.
No pa da najprej pokažem nekaj novih žokcev za telefone. Prvi je naročilo, drugi pa je za moj novi telefončič, dokler ne dobim naročenega ovitka.

Tako jezna, da bi najraje kričala. Pa raje ne bom, ker stara mama spi. :)
Že nekaj časa razmišljam o imenu lastne blagovne znamke, da nekako povežem v celoto vse moje izdelke s skupnim imenom, znakcem, celostno podobo... kar nekaj tuhtanja je preteklo vmes, porajale so se različne ideje, ki so potem zopet letele dol s seznama možnih imen. Nato je padla odločitev, da bo naslednja sezona (jesen-zima 2011/12) že v tej temi in počasi se približuje. Zato se se počitniško odločila, da spet malo prerešetam možna imena, malo pogooglam in se probam čimprej dločiti. In potem prvi šok - beseda drobtinice, ki je bila kar visoko na mojem seznamu, je v tem času že nekdo izbral in tudi zakupil domeno. torej odpade.
potem pa pride do drugega šoka, ki je bil še toliko bolj boleč. Že precej časa nazaj sem si izmislila izraz Kraftarije, kot oznako teme na blogu in hkrati tudi kot ime vseh albumov na FB, ki prikazujejo moje izdelke. Glede na to, da se v besedi KrAfTariJA skriva tudi moje ime, se mi je zdela beseda precej odlična. Poleg tega je pa še izmišljena (v bistvu popačenka besede craft), ter tako neproblematična zaradi uporabe v druge namene ( kot naprimer krušne drobtinice). in tako danes veselo pogooglam kraftarije (pred pol leta je google našel samo moj blog na to temo) in ugotovim, da je letos januarja nekdo odprl s.p. s tem imenom.
In to je ta zgodba. In sem tako jezna, da se sploh ne morem prepričati v početje česa koristnega. ker sem spet popolnoma na začetku z vsem skupaj in lahko samo še renčim....

Volna iz Amerike

Sorodnica čez lužo je navdušena nad mojim pletenjem in mi je poslala nekaj klobčičev volne. Najprej zaradi meni niti ne ljubih barvnih odtenkov nisem bila pretirano navdušena, potem pa sem ugotovila, da zadeva sploh ni slaba. Na traku papirja, ki drži klobčič skupaj so namreč različni tutoriali. Na prvemu, debela natur volna, je bil tutorial za rolko (neck warmer), na drugem, zelenem klobčiču, pa tutorial za jopico s kapuco za malčka. Ker točno vem kdo bi hotel tako zeleno reč, sem seveda probno naredila iz ene druge volne. in je tudi ta uspela.

Podoba bloga je do nadaljnega belo dolgočasna. Za predhodno podlogo sem po dolgem času ugotovila, da je nekaj narobe z njo in zato ne morem naresti povezave do FBja za objave postov. Saj bo hmalu jesen in takrat tudi celotna obnova strani.

Tole pa je najnovejši izdelek. Saj ne vem kako naj mu rečem. Angleško je neck warmer, po pepermintovo je grelček za vrat, moja tašča temu pravi rolka, sestrična pa ror. Tako da poimenovanje prepustim vsakemu posebej.

takole, bliža se konec sezone kap (oziroma je v naših geografskih širinah že napočil). in ker je potrebno sprazniti zaloge za novo sezono bom podelila tele tri kapce. če so komu všeč in bi jih rad imel, potem naj komentira pod objavo, zaželjeno je tudi, da to omeni na svojem blogu, seveda pa to ni nujno. pa napišite katero bi radi. prvi dve prideta lepo po glavi, zadnja pa je bolj baretka stil.

Zakaj imam rada velike torbice

Debata o tem je šla pri McCrafty in pri Kitty. Pa mi je postalo zanimivo in sem na glavo obrnila svojo torbo (se ji ne more reči torbica, ker je prevelika :)).

Torej... robci (zewa softis, da ob prehladih nimam spraskanega nosa - čista resnica), kapa, slušalke in torbica zanje, torbica za malico, čokolada (da sprobam nov okus), stara in nova zaloga cedevita bonbonov, nove vizitke, letni planer, rokovnik z metuljčki z Irske, denarnica, mačka za tampone :), USB ključ + Lojzl :), sončna očala (ker ne morem brez), kresnička (za žurke, kadar grem domov peš :)), prstan (že sto let ga nosim zmanjšat k zlatarju), parfum, škatlica za zdravila, ključi od avta, 2 labeli, čigume, najljubši kuli in nalivnik (ful debel), LUSH dišava in najboljša krema za roke (L'occitaine - sivka). Tokrat manjka kakšna kvačkarija v delu, ker ima preveliko klopko volne (tavelike iz Hoferja) in je malo nepraktično jo nosit naokrog.
